Web development, engineering, and solutions

I build websites, and when a website isn't enough I build the software around it. I do all of it myself, from the first email to keeping it running afterwards.

Web development

Most of what I build is for small brands that need to look good and load fast on a phone. I write the sites by hand instead of starting from a theme. That keeps them light, and it makes the SEO side much easier to get right: page titles, structured data, sitemaps, image sizes.

That covers brand sites, product catalogs, redesigns of sites that have gotten slow, and SEO work on sites someone else built.

Engineering

A lot of businesses outgrow their site in the same way. Every time something changes, somebody has to email the developer. Usually the fix is an admin panel built around how they actually work. Superlative's is a good example: they change their menu themselves and it's live a minute later.

I also connect tools that don't talk to each other, automate the jobs people are doing by hand, and handle the security that comes with logins and file uploads.

Solutions

After launch I can host what I build, keep it updated, and watch that it stays up. I can also add Flyleaf, my tool for sending promotional emails to a mailing list, to your admin panel. And if someone else has quoted you for a site and you want a second opinion, send it over.
